To appropriately control speed of a marine vessel in an automatic maneuvering mode.SOLUTION: An automatic maneuvering system includes a marine vessel and a communication device. The marine vessel includes: an actuator having a function of generating propulsive force of the marine vessel and a function of generating a turning moment in the marine vessel; an operation part for receiving input operation of operating the actuator; and a marine vessel control device for operating the actuator on the basis of at least input operation received by the operation part. The marine vessel control device has a manual maneuvering mode of operating the actuator on the basis of the input operation received by the operation part, and an automatic maneuvering mode of operating the actuator without requiring reception of the input operation by the operation part. In the automatic maneuvering mode, the marine vessel control device controls speed of the marine vessel on the basis of a relative distance between the marine vessel and the communication device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
