To provide a train group control device and an automatic train operation system capable of preventing expansion of a delay by eliminating disturbance of train intervals.SOLUTION: In the automatic train operation system, the train group control device calculates stop time predicted at a next stop station from a boarding rate of each vehicle and a congestion rate at a station platform, and extracts two trains predicted to be longest in train interval as a worst pair on the basis of position information and the predicted stop time of each train. Further, the train group control device determines whether to start group control in accordance with a prescribed algorithm, calculates overtime of the predicted stop time on the basis of the train interval of the worst pair, distributes the calculated overtime at a prescribed ratio, generates stop time information obtained by adding the distributed overtime to prescribed stop time, and transmits the generated information to corresponding preceding and succeeding trains.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】列車間隔の乱れを解消し遅延の拡大を防止する、列車群制御装置および列車自動運転システムを提供する。【解決手段】列車自動運転システムにおいて、列車群制御装置は、車両毎の乗車率と駅ホームの混雑率から、次停車駅において予測される停車時間を算出し、各列車の位置情報と予測される停車時間とに基づいて、列車間隔が最も長くなると予測される2台の列車をワーストペアとして抽出する。また、所定のアルゴリズムに従って群制御を開始するか否か判定し、ワーストペアの列車間隔に基づき予測停車時間の超過時間を算出するとともに、算出した超過時間を所定の比率で分配し、ワーストペアのうち後ろの列車を基準として、規定停止時間に対して分配された超過時間を加算した停止時間情報を生成し、生成された情報を対応する先行列車および後続列車へ送信する。【選択図】図4
