To provide a lift variable mechanism which can vary a lift generated at a wing of an aircraft without moving a large member such as a movable wing piece of the aircraft, a rotor blade of a rotary wing aircraft or the like.SOLUTION: A lift variable mechanism which can vary a lift generated at a wing 2 of an aircraft comprises: a slit 3 extending in a wing width direction of the wing 2, having openings 3A, 3B at a lower face 2A side and an upper face 2B side of the wing 2, and capable of making a part of an airflow α flowing at the lower face 2A side of the wing 2 communicate with the upper face 2B side; and an opening/closing member 4 for opening and closing the slit 3. The opening/closing member 4 reduces the lift generated at the wing 2 by opening the slit 3 lower than that in the case that the slit 3 is closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
