To provide a variable pitch propeller which is inexpensive, easy to be assembled and adjusted, and suitable for mass production.SOLUTION: A variable pitch propeller has a rotation shaft, a feathering shaft rotated by the rotation shaft, one blade being secured to the feathering shaft and having airfoil with a positive moment coefficient, a counter weight being secured at a position on the feathering shaft opposite to the blade with respect to the rotation shaft for equalizing moments of inertia of two inertia main shafts orthogonal to an axial direction of the feathering shaft, and two radial bearings being arranged with the rotation shaft located therebetween and supporting the feathering shaft rotatably around the feathering shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
