To efficiently detect hydrogen leaks while reducing the number of hydrogen sensors.SOLUTION: The hydrogen leak detection mechanism for detecting hydrogen leaks in a fuel buttery system includes: an outer shell that houses a hydrogen distribution part, which is at least a part of a fuel battery system; a plurality of hydrogen sensors; and a porous sheet that is arranged so as to partition at least a part of the space inside the outer shell and allow hydrogen to permeate in the thickness direction. In the outer shell, the hydrogen flow part is located in the area below the porous sheet, and the hydrogen sensors are placed in an area above the porous sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
