To smoothly move a protrusion of a work basket of a lifting device.SOLUTION: A lifting device comprises an elevating frame, which can move in indoor space, that extends in the vertical direction, an elevating body that moves up and down along the elevating frame, a work basket provided on the elevating body, and a protrusion mechanism unit that moves the work basket in the front-rear direction with respect to the elevating body. The protrusion mechanism unit is formed by four tables superposed on each other, each table being formed so as to move by the same amount of movement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
