To suppress an electric current, which runs through an auxiliary machine power line side from a second battery side with a discharge circuit, from running through a switch side of a charge circuit.SOLUTION: A power supply system 10 includes: a first battery 11; a second battery 12; a DCDC converter 13; an auxiliary machine power line 17 for connecting an on-vehicle auxiliary machine 110 with the DCDC converter 13; a discharge circuit 23 for permitting that an electric current runs through the auxiliary machine power line 17 from the second battery 12 side when a voltage of the auxiliary machine power line 17 is less than a voltage of the second battery 12; a charge circuit 24 for stepping down an output voltage of the DCDC converter 13 to be input into the second battery 12 by repeating on-off operations of a second switching element 42; and a controller 80 for maintaining that the second switching element 42 is under an off state when the discharge circuit 23 permits that an electric current runs through the auxiliary machine power line 17 side from the second battery 12 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
