To provide a battery control system for a vehicle and a battery control method for a vehicle which can suppress the degradation of a battery while preventing a user from feeling a sense of discomfort.SOLUTION: A battery control system for a vehicle comprises: temperature rise control means 14 which executes temperature rise control for driving a battery heater 12 when a temperature of a battery 10 is less than a determination temperature; determination means 20 which determines whether or not a stop continuation time being an elapsed time from stop of driving of a power source 104 caused by off-operation of a power switch SW1 reaches a prescribed notification determination time; and an operation terminal 30 which can perform notification of information to a user outside a vehicle 100 and reception of the operation performed by the user. When the determination means 20 determines that the stop continuation time reaches the notification determination time, the battery control system causes the operation terminal 30 to notify the user of a recommendation notification for recommending to stop the temperature rise control, and stops the temperature rise control when operation of inputting an intention to follow the recommendation notification is performed to the operation terminal 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】利用者が違和感を覚えるのを防止しつつ、バッテリの劣化を抑制可能な車両用バッテリ制御システムおよび車両用バッテリ制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】バッテリ10の温度が判定温度未満になるのに伴ってバッテリヒータ12を駆動させる昇温制御を実行する昇温制御手段14と、パワースイッチSW1のオフ操作により動力源104の駆動が停止してからの経過時間である停止継続時間が所定の通知判定時間に達したか否かを判定する判定手段20と、車両100の外部の利用者に対する情報の通知および当該利用者が行う操作の受付けが可能な操作端末30とを設け、判定手段20によって停止継続時間が通知判定時間に達したと判定されると、操作端末30によって昇温制御を停止することを推奨する推奨通知を利用者に対して行わせ、推奨通知に従う旨を入力する操作が操作端末30に対して行われた場合に昇温制御を停止する。【選択図】図4
