To provide a wear estimation method and the like that prevent the amount of wear from being overestimated in a region where both the wheel and the rail are worn.SOLUTION: A wear estimation method for estimating wear Vs and Vm at a point of contact between a railroad wheel and a rail is comprises: setting a wear share ratio r between the wheel and the rail when a hardness ratio, which is a ratio of the hardness Hs of a wheel material to a hardness Hm of a rail material, is within a predetermined range; and calculating an amount of wheel wear and an amount of rail wear through apportioning a total wear amount V calculated according to a contact state between the wheel and the rail by the wear share ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】車輪とレールとがともに摩耗する領域で摩耗量が過大に推定されることを防止した摩耗推定方法等を提供する。【解決手段】鉄道の車輪とレールとの接触箇所における摩耗Vs,Vmを推定する摩耗推定方法を、車輪の材料の硬度Hsとレールの材料の硬度Hmとの比率である硬度比が所定の範囲内である場合において、車輪とレールとの摩耗分担率rを設定し、車輪とレールとの接触状態に応じて算出される総摩耗量Vを、摩耗分担率で按分して車輪の摩耗量とレールの摩耗量を算出する構成とする。【選択図】図2
