To provide a knob retaining structure for vehicle doors that can inhibit scratching of an indicator knob.SOLUTION: A knob retaining structure 1 for vehicle doors, which is provided in a knob insertion hole 87 pierced through a door trim 80, is configured to guide an indicator knob 7 when the indicator knob 7, which has an upward convex shape and is inserted into the knob insertion hole 87 from below, is raised and lowered. The knob retaining structure 1 has a guide section 30 that guides the indicator knob 7 vertically, and an introduction section 40 that is provided below the guide section 30 and leads the indicator knob 7 to the guide section 30. The introduction section 40 includes an introduction curved surface 40A, which is a curved surface that surrounds the indicator knob 7 around the axis center X1 of the knob insertion hole 87 and extends downward in an inverted taper shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
