To realize failure diagnosis of a current cutoff device while continuing power supply to an electric load while suppressing complication of the configuration of a power supply system.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a failure diagnosis method for a current cutoff device 21A provided in a power supply system 12 of a vehicle 1, the method comprising: a supply step in which a power supply device 14 supplies power to a first electric load 11 and a first power storage device 13; a command step of commanding cutoff to the current cutoff device 21A in a state in which the power is supplied from the power supply device 14 to the first electric load 11 and the first power storage device 13; and a determination step of measuring a charging current of a secondary battery 20A with a current sensor 21B in a state in which the cutoff is commanded to the current cutoff device 21A to determine presence/absence of a failure in the current cutoff device 21A on the basis of the measured current value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
