To provide a relative position monitoring device of pantographs and overhead wires that can detect relative positions of the pantographs and the overhead wires in a vehicle in which a plurality of pantographs come into contact with different overhead wires.SOLUTION: A relative position monitoring device 1 includes an area sensor 2, and an overhead wire position detection unit 33 of a processing device 3. The area sensor 2 is installed on a vehicle 100, transmits directive beams to a plurality of overhead wires L1, L2, and L3 in contact with a plurality of pantographs 101, 102, and 103, and receives reflected waves generated by transmitting the beams B1, B2, and B3. The overhead wire position detection unit 33 detects positions of the overhead wires L1, L2, and L3 from reception data obtained by the area sensor 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】複数のパンタグラフがそれぞれ異なる架線と接触する車両においてパンタグラフと架線との相対位置を検出できる、架線とパンタグラフの相対位置監視装置を提供する。【解決手段】相対位置監視装置1は、エリアセンサ2と、処理装置3の架線位置検出部33と、を有している。エリアセンサ2は、車両100に設置されており、複数のパンタグラフ101,102,103と接触している複数の架線L1,L2,L3へ指向性を有するビームを送信するとともにこのビームB1,B2,B3を送信することで生じる反射波を受信する。架線位置検出部33は、エリアセンサ2で得られた受信データから各架線L1,L2,L3の位置を検出する。【選択図】 図1
