To increase inclination of an axle hub relative to a hub carrier in an upright of a vehicle when external force acts on a wheel.SOLUTION: An upright 14 includes: an axle hub 22 to which a wheel 10 is fixed; and a hub carrier 24 which rotatably supports the axle hub 22 through a bearing 26. Further, the upright 14 includes a hub inclination detector 52 which detects inclination of the axle hub 22 relative to the hub carrier 24. A deformation member 50 is disposed between a bearing holding part 34 of the hub carrier 24 and an outer race 48 of the baring 26. A material of the deformation member 50 has a Young's modulus lower than that of the bearing holding part 34. The deformation member 50 has low rigidity to make the axle hub 22 incline easily.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
