To improve a vehicle height control system, for example, being the shortening of a time necessary for vehicle height control.SOLUTION: In a vehicle height control system, vehicle height control is sequentially performed stepwise at each wheel of a part of a plurality of wheels. For example, a vehicle height is made to approximate a target vehicle height at each set value one by one at each of a part of the wheels, however, in this case, when a vehicle height difference between a temporary target vehicle height and a final target vehicle height is larger than a second set value which is smaller than a first set width with a vehicle height which is apart from a measurement vehicle height by the first set width as the temporary target vehicle height, the temporary target vehicle height is set as a control target vehicle height, and when the vehicle height difference is equal to, or smaller than the second set value, the final target vehicle height is set as the control target vehicle height. Therefore, when the vehicle height difference between the temporary target vehicle height and the final target vehicle height is equal to, or smaller than the second set value, the number of times of the switching of control objective wheels in the vehicle height control can be reduced compared with the case that the temporary target vehicle height is set as the control target vehicle height, and a time necessary for the vehicle height control can be thereby shortened by an amount of the reduction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】車高制御システムの改良であり、例えば、車高制御に要する時間を短くすることである。【解決手段】本車高制御システムにおいては、車高制御が、複数の車輪のうちの一部の車輪毎に、順番にかつ段階的に行われる。例えば、一部の車輪毎に、それぞれ、車高が第1設定幅ずつ目標車高に近づけられるが、その場合において、測定車高から第1設定幅隔たった車高を仮目標車高として、仮目標車高と最終目標車高との車高差が第1設定幅より小さい第2設定値より大きい場合に、仮目標車高が制御用目標車高とされ、第2設定値以下である場合に、最終目標車高が制御用目標車高とされる。そのため、仮目標車高と最終目標車高との車高差が第2設定値以下である場合に、仮目標車高が制御用目標車高とされる場合に比較して、車高制御における制御対象輪の切換回数を減らすことができ、その分、車高制御に要する時間を短くすることができる。【選択図】図5
