To provide a pneumatic tire capable of reducing load on the environment; and to provide a pneumatic tire manufacturing method capable of obtaining the pneumatic tire capable of reducing the load on the environment.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 10 comprises one or a plurality of belt reinforcing layers 7 disposed on a tread part. The belt reinforcing layer has an adhesive coating organic fiber cord 71 obtained by coating an organic fiber cord 72 with an adhesive composition 73 including polyphenol and aldehyde, and a coating rubber 74 coating the adhesive coating organic fiber cord. The coating rubber coats the tire radial direction inner side and the tire radial direction outer side of the adhesive coating organic fiber cord. The thickness of a portion in the coating rubber, of the tire radial direction inner side from the adhesive coating organic fiber cord is larger than the thickness of a portion, in the coating rubber, of the tire radial direction outer side from the adhesive coating organic fiber cord, or the tire radial direction inner side of the adhesive coating organic fiber cord is coated and the tire radial direction outer side of the adhesive coating organic fiber cord is not coated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】環境への負荷を低減できる空気入りタイヤ、及び、環境への負荷を低減できる空気入りタイヤを得ることができる、空気入りタイヤの製造方法を、提供する。【解決手段】本発明の空気入りタイヤ10は、トレッド部に1層又は複数層のベルト補強層7を備えた、空気入りタイヤであって、ベルト補強層は、有機繊維コード72に、ポリフェノール類及びアルデヒド類を含む接着剤組成物73がコーティングされてなる、接着剤被覆有機繊維コード71と、接着剤被覆有機繊維コードを被覆する、被覆ゴム74と、を有しており、被覆ゴムは、接着剤被覆有機繊維コードのタイヤ径方向内側及びタイヤ径方向外側を被覆しており、被覆ゴムのうち接着剤被覆有機繊維コードよりもタイヤ径方向内側の部分の厚さが、被覆ゴムのうち接着剤被覆有機繊維コードよりもタイヤ径方向外側の部分の厚さよりも大きい、又は、接着剤被覆有機繊維コードのタイヤ径方向内側を被覆しているとともに、接着剤被覆有機繊維コードのタイヤ径方向外側を被覆していない。【選択図】図2
