To provide a quick charging device and a quick charging method having excellent efficiency when quickly charging a solid-state battery.SOLUTION: A quick charging device has: a charging unit for supplying electric current to a solid-state battery as a secondary battery; a temperature acquisition unit for acquiring a temperature of the solid-state battery; and a control unit for performing control to cool the solid-state battery when a temperature acquired by the temperature acquisition unit is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature. The control unit detects multiple flexion points in a curve that shows temperature variation of the solid-state battery with respect to internal resistance of the solid-state battery. The predetermined temperature is a temperature in correspondence with a flexion point on a high temperature side among the multiple flexion points.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
