To provide a road surface condition prediction method and a road surface condition prediction model manufacturing method capable of efficiently predicting a road surface condition at a future time and improving the prediction accuracy.SOLUTION: The road surface condition prediction method for acquiring vehicle information which is information on behaviors of a vehicle during traveling by a vehicle sensor mounted on the vehicle, and predicting a road surface condition in a predetermined range including a vehicle point by using a predicted road surface condition obtained based on the vehicle information, is configured to predict the road surface condition at a later time than the time at which the estimated road surface condition is obtained based on weather information and residual salt concentration within the predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】将来の時刻における路面状態状態を効率良く予測するとともに予測精度を向上可能な路面状態予測方法及び路面状態予測モデルの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両に搭載された車載センサにより、走行時の前記車両の挙動の情報である車両情報を取得し、車両情報に基づいて得られる推定路面状態を用いて車両の地点を含む所定範囲内の路面状態を予測する路面状態予測方法であって、所定範囲内の気象情報及び残留塩分濃度に基づいて、推定路面状態が得られた時刻よりも将来の時刻の路面状態を予測するようにした。【選択図】図1
