To provide a vehicle control system which enables a vehicle occupant to be appropriately guided in accordance with the estimated arrival range of seismic surges, irrespective of the estimated arrival time or magnitude of the seismic surges.SOLUTION: A vehicle control system 2 guides a vehicle V from the place of departure to a destination. The vehicle control system 2 comprises a route setting unit 12, a receiving unit 26 and a determination unit 14. The route setting unit 12 sets route information to the destination and time information. The route information includes a plurality of transit positions from the place of departure to the destination. The time information includes transit position passing times and an arrival time at the destination. The receiving unit 26 receives the estimated arrival range and estimated arrival time of seismic surges. The determination unit 14 determines whether or not the estimated arrival range and estimated arrival time of seismic surges received by the receiving unit 26 overlap the route information and time information set by the route setting unit. When determined as overlapping by the determination unit 14, the route setting unit 12 determines either to set an alternative route to the destination, change the destination or evacuate the vehicle occupant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】津波の予想到達時刻や大きさに関わらず、津波の予想到達範囲に応じて車両の乗員を適切に誘導できる車両制御システムを提供する。【解決手段】車両制御システム2は、車両Vを出発地から目的地まで案内するシステムである。車両制御システム2は、ルート設定部12と、受信部26と、判定部14と、を備える。ルート設定部12は、目的地までのルート情報と時刻情報とを設定する。ルート情報は、出発地から目的地までの複数の通過位置を含む。時刻情報は、通過位置の通過時刻および目的地への到着時刻を含む。受信部26は、津波の予想到達範囲および予想到達時刻を受信する。判定部14は、受信部26で受信した津波の予想到達範囲および予想到達時刻が、ルート設定部で設定したルート情報および時刻情報と重複するか否か判定する。ルート設定部12は、判定部14が、重複すると判定した場合、目的地までの迂回ルートの設定、目的地の変更、および、車両の乗員の脱出のいずれかを決定する。【選択図】 図3
