The vehicle air conditioner includes a disembarkation determination unit 110 that determines whether an occupant has disembarked, and a control unit 130 that executes first suppression control in which, when it is determined that the occupant has disembarked, the intake ports 13A and 13B and the outlets 13C, 13D and 13E are opened and at the same time, the fan 14, the evaporator 15, and the heater core 16 are operated, and the dry warm air that is dehumidified by the evaporator 15 and heated by the heater core 16 is sent.
