To provide an apparatus for detecting a lubrication abnormality that causes a failure in that a torque capacity becomes out of an assumed range in a wet-type frictional engagement mechanism.SOLUTION: A frictional engagement mechanism includes an input-side friction plate and an output-side friction plate that transmit torque when both plates mutually contact. a lubrication oil is supplied to, and evacuated from, the input-side friction plate and output-side friction plate that are sealed in a tightly closed case in which pressure increases in accordance with a supply amount of the lubrication oil thereinto. The mechanism also includes a controller for controlling supply of the lubrication oil into the case and evacuation of the oil therefrom. The controller performs: deriving a behavior of an input-side rotation member connected to the input-side friction plate or that of an output-side rotation plate connected to the output-side friction plate after starting control to have the input-side friction plate contact with the output-side friction plate (step S3); comparing the derived behavior with a predetermined determination reference (step S4); and determining an abnormality of either in the supply or evacuation of the lubrication oil on the basis of the result of comparison (step S5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】湿式の摩擦係合機構においてトルク容量が想定範囲を外れてしまう異常の要因となる潤滑異常を検出する装置を提供する。【解決手段】摩擦係合機構は、互いに接触することによりトルクを伝達する入力側摩擦板と出力側摩擦板とを有し、かつ入力側摩擦板と出力側摩擦板とは潤滑油が供給および排出されるとともに潤滑油の供給量に応じて潤滑油の圧力が高くなる密閉構造のケース内に封入され、ケース内への潤滑油の供給および排出を制御するコントローラを有し、コントローラは、入力側摩擦板に連結されている入力側回転部材もしくは出力側摩擦板に連結されている出力側回転部材の、入力側摩擦板と出力側摩擦板とを接触させる制御を開始した後の挙動を求め(ステップS3)、求められた挙動を予め定めた判断基準と比較し(ステップS4)、比較の結果に基づいて潤滑油の供給もしくは排出の異常を判定する(ステップS5)。【選択図】図4
