To provide a traveling route setting method capable of avoiding a route on which a load is added to a brake.SOLUTION: A method executed by a processor 10 includes steps of: setting a travelling route of a vehicle to a destination; calculating a predicted temperature of a brake pad on the basis of a predicted heating value of the brake pad, which corresponds to the travelling route; and resetting the travelling route when the predicted temperature of the brake pad is a threshold or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
