To provide a rotation transmission mechanism of which the operational stability is improved by remarkably reducing a load at a startup time, increasing an acceleration and increasing output in place of storing a part of input energy in an elastic body and utilizing it as rotation energy, a rotation transmission joint, a motor and a generator.SOLUTION: First to fourth rotors 12a to 12d are successively disposed coaxially in an axial direction and regarding the rotors which are adjacent to each other, relative rotation amounts are regulated by first to third relative rotation regulation means 13a to 13c. At an operation startup time, the first to fourth rotors 12a to 12d successively start rotating while being delayed. Finally, the first to fourth rotors 12a to 12d are integrally rotated and rotations are transmitted from the first rotor 12a to the fourth rotor 12d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
