To provide a collation system which suppresses increase in power source capacity and mutual interference.SOLUTION: A collation system 1 comprises: a detection part 10 which detects an authentication terminal, in which authentication code is stored, on the basis of a detection signal; a first communication part 11 which outputs a first signal when the detection signal is not outputted, and communicates with the authentication terminal on the basis of the first signal; a second communication part 12 which outputs a second signal when the detection signal and the first signal are not outputted, and communicates with the authentication terminal on the basis of the second signal; a collation part 13 which collates the authentication code acquired from the authentication terminal with owned master code; and a necessity/unnecessity determination part 14 which determines necessity/unnecessity of the output of the second signal by at least any one of the detection result of the authentication terminal by the detection part 10, the response status with the authentication terminal for the first signal, the collation result by the collation part 13.
