To improve the fuel consumption of a ship.SOLUTION: A fuel supply control device 1 includes: a counter steering determination part 10 for determining whether steering is counter steering on the basis of at least one of steering information on a ship and a fuel supply amount to an engine; and a fuel supply control part 11 for suppressing fluctuation in fuel supply amount by comparing a case in which the counter steering determination part 10 determines that the steering is counter steering with a case in which it is not counter steering. A fuel supply control method includes: a counter steering determination step S1 for determining whether the steering is counter steering on the basis of at least one of the steering information on the ship and the fuel supply amount to the engine; and a fuel supply control step S2 for suppressing the fluctuation in fuel supply amount by comparing the case in which the steering is determined to be counter steering with a case in which it is not counter steering.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
