To make it possible to increase transport efficiency in a building in a fully automatic operation system with two elevators in a state where renewal work of only one-side elevator has finished.SOLUTION: An elevator system includes: two elevators installed adjacent to each other; a landing call operation panel for registering a landing call of the elevators; a control device having the control for making the elevators and the landing call operation panel communicate with one another and confirming both states of the elevators when landing call operation is performed with the landing call operation panel to allocate the elevators responding to the landing call operation; a landing radio communication device installed on the landing call operation panel to wirelessly transmit landing call operation information performed by the landing call operation panel to the control device when confirmation of both states of the elevators is disconnected; a car call lighting unit installed in a car of the elevator such that car call and direction information is illuminated; a car call lighting information acquisition unit for acquiring lighting information that is illuminated by the car call lighting unit; and a car position and elevating/lowering direction estimation unit for estimating a car position and an elevating/lowering direction according to the lighting information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
