To provide a disc brake structure capable of suppressing the occurrence of a brake squeal on a disc turn-in side of a friction material of a brake pad.SOLUTION: In each of friction materials 25 of a pair of right and left right brake pads 20, a disc turn-in side end 25b of the friction material 25 is located closer to a disc turn-out side FWD than a disc turn-in side end 13b2 of a most turn-in side piston 13b1 of a brake caliper, and an end edge length of the disc turn-in side end 25b of the friction material 25 is larger than an end edge length of a disc turn-in side end 21e of a back metal 21. On a disc turn-in side FWU of the back metal 21 of the brake pad 20, a tapered shape portion 21b is provided, which becomes narrower in a disc radial direction. In each of the pair of right and left friction materials 25, the disc turn-in side end 25b of the friction material 25 is located closer to the disc turn-out side FWD than the tapered shape portion 21b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
