To provide a capacitance sensor which suppresses interference between an antenna and sensor electrodes housed in a limited space, and which suppresses the decrease in antenna output and the changes in impedance and natural frequency.SOLUTION: There are provided a detection part having an electrode 40 made of a conductor, and a detecting part 50 for determining a change in capacitance of the detection part. The electrode 40 is placed in the vicinity of magnetic field generating means 10 where the direction along the electrode 40 is in coincidence with the direction of the axis of the magnetic pole. The shape of the electrode 40 is configured to have a slit in a non-conducting part that interferes with a current generated in the electrode 40 as a result of a magnetic field generated at the magnetic field generating means 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
