To appropriately control charging and discharging of an assembled battery without exchanging SOC of all cells between a battery system and a power control system.SOLUTION: A battery pack 1 comprises: an assembled battery 10 including a plurality of cells 101 to 10M; a voltage sensor 21 which detects voltage of the plurality of cells; and a current sensor 22 which detects currents input into and output from the plurality of cells. A power control system 2 has: a PCU 60 adapted to charge and discharge the assembled battery 10; and an HVECU 90 controlling the PCU 60. The battery pack 1 outputs a deviation of SOC among the plurality of cells obtained from detection results of the voltage sensor 21 and the current sensor 22 to the HVECU 90. The HVECU 90 controls the PCU 60 so that a maximum SOC among the SOC of the plurality of cells calculated from the outputs from the battery pack 1 becomes smaller than an upper limit UL of a predetermined SOC region and a minimum SOC among the SOC of the plurality of cells becomes larger than a lower limit LL of the SOC region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
