To realize appropriate charge/discharge control in a power storage system including a plurality of battery units.SOLUTION: In a power storage system, charge/discharge quantities of battery units 1 and 2 are obtained by a predetermined calculation using SOC (State of Charge). The predetermined calculation assigns, in a discharge mode, a larger discharge quantity to a battery unit having a higher SOC of the battery units 1 and 2, and assigns, in a charge mode, a larger charge quantity to a battery unit having a lower SOC of the battery units 1 and 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
