To provide means of defending, against a torpedo with a high probability, an object to be attacked by the torpedo.SOLUTION: Upon detecting a torpedo on the basis of an image generated by a sonar 15, a control device 14 identifies a migration pathway of the torpedo. If a ship is on the migration pathway, the control device 14 instructs a discharge device 16 to discharge a torpedo capture device 10, and instructs an underwater mine 13 to switch to a detonation stand-by mode. Moving machine devices 12 of the torpedo capture device 10 discharged by the discharge device 16 according to the instruction from the control device 14 moves to spread a net 11 underwater. Thereafter, the control device 14 identifies respective positions of moving machine devices 12M and 12S on the basis of the image generated by the sonar 15, and instructs the moving machine devices 12M and 12S to move such that the center of the net 11 is on the migration pathway of the torpedo. The moving machine devices 12M and 12S move according to the instruction from the control device 14.     【課題】魚雷の攻撃対象を魚雷から高い確率で防御する手段を提供する。【解決手段】制御装置14はソナー15が生成する画像に基づき魚雷を検知すると、その魚雷の移動経路を特定する。その移動経路上に船舶がある場合、制御装置14は射出装置16に魚雷捕捉装置10の射出を指示するとともに、機雷13に起爆待機モードへの切替を指示する。制御装置14の指示に従い射出装置16が射出した魚雷捕捉装置10の移動機械装置12は、水中で網11を広げるように移動する。その後、制御装置14はソナー15が生成する画像に基づき移動機械装置12M及び12Sの各々の位置を特定し、網11の中央が魚雷の移動経路上となるように移動機械装置12M及び2Sに移動を指示する。移動機械装置12M及び2Sは制御装置14の指示に従い移動する。その後、魚雷が網11に達すると、網11が魚雷を捕捉し、起爆待機状態であった機雷13が爆発して、船舶に達する前に魚雷を爆発させる。【選択図】図1
