To provide an electromagnetic brake which facilitates attachment work of an electromagnetic brake.SOLUTION: A position adjustment tool 31 comprises a guide surface 35a, a guide side surface 35b (guide part), and a wedge part 32 having a back surface 32d (abutting surface). The guide surface 35a performs positioning of a first direction Y and a second direction X of a fixing part 742 of an electromagnetic brake 74. The guide side surface 35b performs positioning of a third direction Z of the fixing part 742 of the electromagnetic brake 74. The back surface 32d abuts on a wall piece 762 of a bracket 76. Moreover, the wedge part 32 maintains the fixing part 742 of the electromagnetic brake 74 at the attachment position of the bracket 76 by being sandwiched by the wall piece 762 of the bracket 76 and the fixing part 742 of the electromagnetic brake 74.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
