To provide a method that can evaluate a slipping behavior accompanied by a change in a tire rolling motion state.SOLUTION: A tire slipping behavior evaluation method includes the steps of: photographing an image of a grounding tread surface in a first state a plurality of times; photographing an image of a grounding tread surface in a second state different from the first state the plurality of times; setting a characteristic point in images photographed in the first state and second state; obtaining a time sequence change in a slipping velocity of the characteristic point in the first state on the basis of a time sequence change in an amount of displacement of the characteristic point becoming obvious from a plurality of pieces of the images in the first state; obtaining a time sequence change in a slipping velocity of the characteristic point in the second state on the basis of a time sequence change in an amount of displacement of the characteristic point becoming obvious from a plurality of pieces of the images in the second state; and obtaining a time sequence change in a relative slipping velocity in the second state with the first state as a reference on the basis of the time sequence change in the slipping velocity of the characteristic point in the first state, and the time sequence change in the slipping velocity of the characteristic point in the second state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
