To provide a lock system for a power-assisted bicycle in which the convenience of a user is increased.SOLUTION: A lock system 200 for a power-assisted bicycle mounted on a power-assisted bicycle 1 comprises an assist system 250, a lock part 223, an assist start-up part 231, an unlocking determination part 222, and a control part 225. When the assist start-up part 231 is operated and the assist system 250 is started up, the control part 225 transmits to the assist system 250 a signal for setting an assist mode when the unlocking determination part 222 determines an unlocked state, and transmits to the assist system 250 a signal for setting a non-assist mode when the unlocking determination part 222 determines a locked state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
