To provide a battery accommodating unit which is excellent in waterproofness and strength.SOLUTION: A battery accommodating unit includes a container main body 10, a lid 20, and an inner bottom wall 30. The container body 10 is formed of a deep-drawn product made of an aluminum alloy, and has a bottom wall 12 and a peripheral wall 14 integrally connected to the bottom wall 12. The lid 20 is mounted on the container main body 10 so as to cover an internal space of the container at a position above the container main body 10. An inner surface of a bottom wall peripheral edge boundary portion 13 which is a boundary portion between the peripheral edge of the bottom wall 12 and the peripheral wall 14 of the container main body 10 is configured by an outwardly convex curved surface. The inner bottom wall 30 is arranged at a position above the bottom wall 12 inside the container main body 10, and a battery accommodating space Sb for accommodating a battery is formed above the inner bottom wall 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
