To provide a landing support system that can improve the accuracy of landing availability determination by estimating a local wind direction and speed near a surface of earth where the landing is scheduled.SOLUTION: A landing support system 1 according to the embodiment includes: an imaging unit 11 that captures movable structures on a surface of the earth from the sky; and an estimation unit 12 that estimates a wind direction and speed in a local region of the surface of the earth based on an image captured by the imaging unit 11. In the system, it is determined whether or not the landing is possible in the local area of the surface of the earth, based on the estimation result by the estimation unit 12. Thereby, it becomes possible to estimate the local wind direction and wind speed near the ground surface where the landing is scheduled, so that the accuracy of determining whether or not the landing is possible can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】着陸予定の地表付近における局所的な風向及び風速を推定することにより、着陸可否の判断精度を向上させることが可能な着陸支援システムを提供すること。【解決手段】本実施の形態にかかる着陸支援システム1は、上空から地表の可動構造物を撮像する撮像部11と、撮像部11によって撮像された撮像画像に基づいて、地表の局所領域における風向及び風速を推定する推定部12と、を備え、推定部12による推定結果に基づいて、地表の局所領域への着陸可否の判断が行われる。それにより、着陸予定の地表付近における局所的な風向及び風速を推定することができるため、着陸可否の判断精度を向上させることができる。【選択図】図1
