To provide a steering load adjustment device of an outboard engine which can secure excellent durability without being affected by an operation state of an operator and is obtained at low costs with space saving achieved.SOLUTION: A steering load adjustment device of an outboard engine is disposed between a steering bracket and a swivel bracket and adjusts a load applied to steering operation in conjunction with steerage of a steering. The load applied to the steering operation is adjusted by swinging an operation member (23) to change a frictional force of a friction pad contacting with a friction plate. A swinging range of the operation member is limited by an operation limiting elongated hole (23d) provided at the operation member and an insertion part (28) fitted in the operation limiting elongated hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
