To provide a metal-rubber composite improved in adhesiveness between a metal and a rubber.SOLUTION: There is provided a metal-rubber composite 10 comprising a metal 1 and a rubber 2, at least a part of which is adhered to the metal 1, wherein a ratio (C1/C2) of a total concentration (C1) of at least one metal element selected from a group consisting of bismuth, copper, antimony, silver, niobium, molybdenum, zirconium and nickel in a region B1 within 100 nm on a rubber side from an adhesion interface AI between the metal 1 and the rubber 2 to a total concentration (C2) of at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of bismuth, copper, antimony, silver, niobium, molybdenum, zirconium and nickel in a region B2 of 100 to 200 nm to the rubber side from the adhesion interface AI between the metal 1 and the rubber 2 is 7.0 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
