To increase the number of candidates for a replacement battery with which a battery is to be replaced.SOLUTION: A battery management device includes: a battery information acquisition unit 52 which acquires battery information of a plurality of secondhand batteries 10; a request information acquisition unit 53 which acquires battery request information including a battery request from a user; and a battery extraction unit 56 which extracts candidate batteries being candidates for a battery to be presented satisfying the battery request, from the plurality of secondhand batteries on the basis of the acquired battery information and the user request information. The battery information includes respective performances of a plurality of battery modules, and the battery extraction unit 56 determines whether or not a candidate battery satisfying the battery request can be achieved by a battery pack obtained by combining battery modules included in mutually different secondhand batteries 10 on the basis of respective acquired performances of a plurality of battery elements and, in response to determining that it can be achieved, extracts the battery pack as a candidate for the battery to be presented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
