To provide a flood detection device which can simply and highly accurately determine flooding of a road on the basis of running state data of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A central processing part 38 acquires CAN data from an information providing device 14. A prediction part 40 reads a vehicle behavior model pre-stored in a model storage part 50, identifies a vehicle type from a vehicle type ID, selects a coefficient corresponding to the vehicle type, and applies the coefficient to the vehicle behavior model, so as to derive a vehicle behavior model for each vehicle type, and assigns the CAN data to the vehicle behavior model, and calculates a prediction value of a vehicle speed. A determination part 42 detects flooding by comparing the prediction value of the vehicle speed and an actually measured value of the vehicle speed of the CAN data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】車両の走行状態データを用いて簡易かつ高精度に道路の冠水を判定可能な冠水検知装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】中央処理部38が、情報提供装置14からCANデータを取得し、予測部40が、モデル記憶部50に予め記憶した車両挙動モデルを読み出し、車種IDから車種を特定して、車種に対応する係数を選択して車両挙動モデルに適用することで車種毎の車両挙動モデルを導出し、CANデータを代入することにより、車速の予測値を算出する。そして、判定部42が、車速の予測値と、実際のCANデータの車速の実測値とを比較して冠水を検知する。【選択図】図1
