To provide a radial roller bearing capable of suppressing increase of friction resistance and preventing seizure even under a lubrication environment in which lubricant is supplied intermittently or under a lubrication environment in which an amount of lubricant is minute.SOLUTION: A holder 14 of a cylindrical roller bearing 10 is made of a resin mixed with short fibers, has a gap S1 between an axial inner end surface 14b of a pair of annular portions 14a and an axial outer end surface 13b of a roller 13, and is provided so as to be movable within a predetermined range along an axial direction. The axial inner end surface 14b of the pair of annular parts 14a is provided with a groove (oil holding parts) 20 in which only the resin is removed by etching and the short fibers are projected. When the holder 14 moves axially, the groove 20 can come in contact with the axial outer end surface 13b of the roller 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】摩擦抵抗の増大を抑制しつつ、潤滑油の供給が断続的である潤滑環境下、或いは、潤滑油が微量である潤滑環境下であったとしても焼付きを防止することができるラジアル型ころ軸受を提供する。【解決手段】円筒ころ軸受10の保持器14は、短繊維を混合した樹脂製であり、一対の円環部14aの軸方向内端面14bところ13の軸方向外端面13bとの間に隙間S1をそれぞれ有して、軸方向に沿って所定の範囲で移動可能に設けられ、一対の円環部14aの軸方向内端面14bに、エッチングにより樹脂のみを除去し短繊維を突出させた溝(保油部)20がそれぞれ設けられ、保持器14が軸方向に移動したときに、溝20がころ13の軸方向外端面13bに接触可能である。【選択図】図1
