To provide a heavy-load pneumatic tire which shows excellent wet traction performance and uneven wear resistance.SOLUTION: In a heavy-load tire, a rim cushion rubber contains a natural rubber and a diene rubber including butadiene rubber. In 100 pts. mass of the diene rubber, a compounding ratio of the butadiene rubber is 40 to 60 pts. mass. 65 to 85 pts. mass of carbon black in which nitrogen adsorption specific area (N2SA) is 60 to 100 m2/g is included relative to 100 pts. mass of the diene rubber. A ratio between an elastic modulus (E'RC) of the rim cushion rubber at 60°C and an elastic modulus (E'side) of a side wall rubber at 60°C satisfies (E'side)/(E'RC)=0.40 to 0.60. A thickness of the rim cushion rubber is 2.0 mm to 5.0 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
