To provide a radar range-finding system that, even when an object greater in reflection intensity of an electromagnetic wave than the transmissivity object exists on other side across the transmissivity object prone to transmission of the electromagnetic wave, can highly accurately detect a transmissivity object on a front side of the object.SOLUTION: A radar range-finding system, which is boarded on a vehicle A, comprises: a transmission/reception unit 111 that transmits transmission wave Wt toward an object and receives a reflection wave Wr reflected by the object; a reflector 140 that reflects the reflection wave from the object in a direction opposite to the incident direction; and an electronic control unit that detects information on the object on the basis of transmission/reception results of the transmission wave Wt and the reflection wave Wr. The electronic control unit is configured to, when a glass plate G exists that serves as a reflection object causing the transmission wave Wt transmitted from the transmission/reception unit 111 a specular reflection to the reflector 140 and causes the reflection wave Wr from the reflector 140 a specular reflection to the transmission/reception unit 111, discriminate the reflector 140 from the detected object on the basis of a relative velocity included in the detected information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】電磁波を透過させやすい透過性の物体の向こう側にその透過性の物体よりも電磁波の反射強度が高い物体が存在する場合でも、その物体の手前側の透過性の物体を精度よく検知可能なレーダ測距システムを提供する。【解決手段】車両Aに搭載されるレーダ測距システムは、物体に向けて送信波Wtを送信して物体によって反射された反射波Wrを受信する送受信部111と、物体からの反射波を入射方向と逆方向へ反射させるリフレクタ140と、送信波Wtと反射波Wrの送受信結果に基づいて物体の情報を検知する電子制御ユニットと、を備える。電子制御ユニットは、送受信部111から送信された送信波Wtをリフレクタ140へ鏡面反射させるとともにリフレクタ140からの反射波Wrを送受信部111へ鏡面反射させる反射物体としてのガラス板Gが存在する場合に、検知した情報に含まれる相対速度に基づいて検知した物体からリフレクタ140を識別する。【選択図】図4
