To improve determination accuracy of whether flood occurs or not on a road surface on which a vehicle travels.SOLUTION: A road surface flood determination device includes: a travel data acquisition part for acquiring actual acceleration which is detected by an acceleration sensor and acts in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle; and a determination part which calculates theoretical acceleration as theoretical acceleration acting in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle traveling on a non-flood road surface, and determines whether a travelling position of the vehicle is a flood point or not on the basis of a difference between the actual acceleration and the theoretical acceleration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両が走行している路面において冠水が発生しているか否かの判定精度を向上させることを可能とする。【解決手段】実施形態の路面冠水判定装置は、一例として、加速度センサによって検出される、車両の前後方向に作用する実加速度を取得する走行データ取得部と、冠水していない路面を走行する前記車両の前後方向に作用する理論的な加速度である理論加速度を算出し、前記実加速度と、前記理論加速度と、の差分に基づいて、前記車両の走行位置が冠水地点か否かを判定する判定部と、を備える。【選択図】図1
