The battery includes: first battery cells 16 in each of which a center axis O1 extending in a longitudinal direction extends in a lateral direction; and second battery cells 17, in each of which a center axis O2 extending in the longitudinal direction extends in an anteroposterior direction. The first battery cells are provided between a seat tube 19, in which a saddle is attached to an upper end part, of the bicycle frame and the rear wheel.
