To provide an impact absorbing material excellent in impact absorption properties, easily recognizable at night, and capable of replacing a broken portion when being broken.SOLUTION: An impact absorbing material comprises: a flat plate-like substrate 2 comprising rigid resin; a pair of resin-made wall bodies 3, 3 installed along a pair of opposing sides 2a, 2a on a top surface 2b of the substrate 2; and a central body 4 installed between the pair of wall bodies 3, 3 and having a recessed cross section perpendicular to the side 2a. The substrate 2 includes ribs 2c, 2c raised on the top surface 2b along the pair of sides 2a, 2a. In the central body 4, an outside surface 4c is externally abutted on the wall bodies 3, 3 respectively while a recessed surface 4a is directed to a substrate 2 side, and the outside surface 4c is provided with a protrusion 4d in parallel to the side 2a. There are provided in parallel to the side 2a in the wall body 3, a first groove 3b into which the rib 2c is fitted, on a wall body bottom 3a, and a recess 3d engaged with the protrusion 4d on a wall body inside surface 3c in contact with the outside surface 4c of the central body 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】衝撃吸収性に優れ、夜間でも認識し易く、かつ破損した場合には破損した部位の交換が可能な衝撃吸収材を提供する。【解決手段】硬質樹脂からなる平板状の基体2と、この基体2の天面2bにおいて、対向する一対の辺2a,2aに沿ってそれぞれ設置されている一対の樹脂製の壁体3,3と、一対の壁体3,3の間に設置され、辺2aに対して垂直な断面が凹状の中央体4とからなり、基体2は一対の辺2a,2aのそれぞれに沿って天面2b上に立設されるリブ2c,2cを備え、中央体4は、その凹面4aを基体2側に向けながら一対の壁体3,3のそれぞれと外側面4cが外接し、その外側面4cには凸部4dが辺2aと平行に設けられ、壁体3は、その壁体底面3aにリブ2cが嵌め込まれる第1の溝3bと、中央体4の外側面4cと接する壁体内側面3c上に凸部4dと嵌合される凹部3dが、辺2aと平行にそれぞれ設けられていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
