To provide a motor controller capable of ensuring the accuracy of an absolute rotation angle of a rotating object to be detected.SOLUTION: An arithmetic circuit 31 of a controller uses an assist-motor rotational angle θm detected thorough a relative angle sensor, a converted value Nmp obtained by converting a pinion-shaft rotational angle θpa detected through an absolute angle sensor into a number of revolution of the assist motor so as to calculate a steering angle θs. The calculation circuit 31 includes a correction processing unit for compensating the converted value Nmp on the basis of the comparison between the assist-motor rotational angle and a converted value obtained by converting a decimal part Nb that is a rotational-angle corresponding value corresponding to the assist-motor rotational angle obtained when the converted value Nmp is calculated into a rotational angle of the assist motor, assuming that the difference between the assist-motor rotational angle θm and the converted value obtained by converting the decimal part Nb into the assist-motor rotational angle is within half a rotation of the assist motor and the assist-motor rotational angle is correct.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】回転検出対象の絶対回転角の検出精度を確保することができるモータ制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】制御装置の演算回路31は、相対角センサを通じて検出されるアシストモータの回転角θmと、絶対角センサを通じて検出されるピニオンシャフトの回転角θpaをアシストモータの回転数に換算した換算値Nmpとを使用して操舵角θsを演算する。演算回路31は、アシストモータの回転角θmと、換算値Nmpを求める際に得られるアシストモータの回転角に対応する回転角対応値である小数部分Nbをアシストモータの回転角に換算した換算値との差がアシストモータの半回転以内であること、およびアシストモータの回転角が正しいことを前提として、アシストモータの回転角と小数部分Nbをアシストモータの回転角に換算した換算値との比較に基づき、換算値Nmpを補正する補正処理部を有している。【選択図】図4
