To prevent a float of a loop-shaped seal member from a bottom of a seal fit-in groove by a shaft seal structure.SOLUTION: A sealing device 102 includes first and second housings 81, 82, a seal member 101 and a seal fit-in groove 90. The second housing 82 has a fit-in part 87 fit to an internal peripheral face 81a of the first housing 81. The seal member 101 seals a clearance between the internal peripheral face 81a of the first housing 81 and an external peripheral face 87a of the fit-in part 87. The seal fit-in groove 90 is formed at the external peripheral face 87a of the fit-in part 87, and fit with the seal member 101. The seal fit-in groove 90 is formed of a circular first groove part 91, a circular second groove part 92 which is reverse to the first groove part 91, and a pair of third groove parts 93, 93 which continue to the first groove part 91 and the second groove part 92.
