To provide a brake force control device that is able to realize comfortable riding and operating feeling in a free-wheeling state of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A brake force control device comprises: a target jerk calculation unit that calculates a target jerk to cause a vehicle in a free-wheeling state to generate brake force; a first estimation unit that estimates an increased quantity of brake force in a case where a predetermined factor in increasing brake force generated by a first actuator unit is currently arising; a second estimation unit that estimates an increased quantity of brake force in a case where the predetermined factor arises in a predetermined period; and a control unit by which a negative jerk to cause a second actuator to generate brake force is determined such that the sum of this negative jerk and a jerk for the first actuator to generate when an increase of brake force by the predetermined factor is not arising becomes equal to a target jerk. In a case where the predetermined factor is arising or arises in the predetermined period and the increased quantity of brake force is larger than a predetermined value, the control unit corrects the determined negative jerk so as to decrease an absolute value thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】車両の惰行状態において好適な乗り心地や操作感を実現できる制動力制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】制動力制御装置は、惰行状態において車両に制動力を発生させる際の、目標ジャークを算出する目標ジャーク算出部と、第1アクチュエータ部が発生させる制動力を増加させる所定の要因が現在発生して場合に制動力の増加量を推定する第1推定部と、所定の要因が所定期間内に発生する場合に制動力の増加量を推定する第2推定部と、第2アクチュエータ部に制動力を発生させる際の負のジャークを、第1アクチュエータが所定の要因による制動力の増加が発生していないときに発生させるジャークとの和が目標ジャークとなるように決定する制御部とを備え、制御部は、現在または所定期間内に所定の要因が発生し制動力の増加量が所定値より大きい場合は、決定した負のジャークを絶対値が小さくなるように補正する。【選択図】図2
