To provide a monitoring method and a system thereof for discriminating an autonomic nerve activity that affects a driver's driving behavior during measurement in real time.SOLUTION: There are provided a monitoring method for an autonomic nerve activity that affects a driver's driving behavior, and a system thereof. The system includes a biological information measuring unit for measuring heartbeat interval variation data and respiration waveform data on the driver respectively, and a control unit including a discrimination device for discriminating a state of the driver's autonomic nerve activity based on the heartbeat interval variation data and the respiration waveform data. The discrimination device cuts out the heartbeat interval variation data in the same temporal axis for each time range in correspondence with a respiratory cycle, subjects the heartbeat interval variation data included in a measurement section immediately before present time to waveform conversion processing for removing a low frequency component of the heartbeat, creates converted heartbeat interval variation data, and discriminates a present state of the driver's autonomic nerve activity by comparing the respiration waveform data to the converted heartbeat interval variation data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 運転者の運転行動に影響を与える自律神経活動を測定中に(リアルタイムで)判別するモニタリング方法及びそのシステムの提供。【解決手段】 運転者の運転行動に影響を与える自律神経活動のモニタリング方法及びそのシステムである。本発明のシステムは、運転者の心拍間隔変動データ及び呼吸波形データをそれぞれ測定する生体情報測定ユニットと、これらの心拍間隔変動データ及び呼吸波形データに基づいて運転者の自律神経活動の状態を判別する判別装置を含む制御ユニットと、を備え、判別装置が、同一の時間軸における心拍間隔変動データを呼吸周期に対応させて時間範囲ごとに切り出し、直前の測定区間に含まれる心拍間隔変動データに対して、心拍の低周波成分を除去する波形変換処理を行って変換心拍間隔変動データを作成し、呼吸波形データと変換心拍間隔変動データとを対比することにより、運転者の自律神経活動の現在状態を判別する。【選択図】図1
