To provide a method for accurately evaluating the friction performance of a rubber member.SOLUTION: An evaluation method includes: a preparation step of preparing a friction test device equipped with a pseudo road surface and a rubber member; and a measurement step of measuring a friction coefficient of the rubber member at a slip speed of 2 mm/sec or more using this friction test device. When the friction coefficient obtained when the pseudo road surface is a dry road surface is μd, and the friction coefficient obtained when the pseudo road surface is a wet road surface is μw, the evaluation method evaluates the friction performance of the rubber member using difference μd-μw as an index. Preferably, the evaluation method evaluates the friction performance due to adhesive friction of the rubber member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】ゴム部材の摩擦性能を精度よく評価するための方法の提供。【解決手段】この評価方法は、擬似路面を備えた摩擦試験装置と、ゴム部材とを準備する準備工程と、この摩擦試験装置を用いて、滑り速度2mm/秒以上で、ゴム部材の摩擦係数を測定する測定工程と、を有している。擬似路面がドライ路面であるときに得られる摩擦係数がμdとし、擬似路面がウェット路面であるときに得られる摩擦係数をμwとするとき、この評価方法では、差μd−μwを指標としてゴム部材の摩擦性能を評価する。好ましくは、この評価方法は、ゴム部材の凝着摩擦による摩擦性能を評価する。【選択図】図1
